Alex Fasulo’s Story
Alex’s journey began the day she quit her corporate job at 22-years-old in 2015, with no plan, money, or idea what she was going to do. Walking around NYC that day in mid-panic, jumping from free museum to museum, Alex went home that night to her an apartment and had an idea. She had been selling $5 editing services on Fiverr at the time for some side cash. What if… that very site could support her full-time?
Fast-forward three-months later and Alex was making enough as a freelance writer on Fiverr to afford her bills in Brooklyn, New York. Obsessed with the potential of not having to go back into an office and work for a boss, Alex double downed on the marketplace and three-years-later, was featured for the first time on CNBC Make It as a ‘25-year-old who made $150,000 in 6-months.’
Putting Alex’s story on the map, she released her first ebook ‘How I Made 6 Figures in 6 Months on Fiverr’ later that year, going onto shift her social media profiles to a freelancer-focus.
As her accounts grew, everything changed yet again in the beginning of 2020 when Alex downloaded TikTok. Quickly growing the account to over 200,000 followers by that summer, and then over 650,000 at the end of 2021, Alex’s story was blasted out to the world just as she crossed the million dollar mark on Fiverr during September 2020.
Today, Alex is a full-time freelance content creator and farmpreneur educator who is passionate about showing every single person that they, too, have a divine purpose and deserve to live a life free from money woes. Having achieved financial freedom in her 20s, Alex is on a mission to show everyone what’s possible when we turn our backs on the systems society has told us ‘are in our best interest.’
Alex is currently working on developing her House of Green brand, centered on the Upstate New York vertical farming operation she is building. The brand features a newsletter, podcast, and social media content, viewable on all of Alex’s channels. The farm will include futuristic technology, experimental events, and plenty of microgreens along the way.
